Prof. Sung-Bae-Cho

Prof. Sung-Bae Cho received the B.S. degree in computer science from Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology), Taejeon, Korea. He was an invited researcher of Human Information Processing research laboratories at ATR (Advanced Telecommunications Research) institute, Kyoto, Japan from 1993 to 1995, and a visiting scholar at University of New South Wales, Canberra, Australia in 1998. He was also a visiting professor at University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada from 2005 to 2006, and at King Mongkut’s University of Technology at Thonburi, Bangkok, Thailand in 2013. Since 1995, he has been a professor in the Department of Computer Science, Yonsei University, a Underwood distinguished professor from 2021, and a Yonsei Fellow from 2023. His research interests include neural networks, pattern recognition, intelligent man-machine interfaces, evolutionary computation, and artificial life. Dr. Cho was the recipient of the Richard E. Merwin prize from the IEEE Computer Society in 1993. He received several Distinguished Investigator Awards from Korea Information Science Society in 2005, and Gaheon Sindoricoh in 2017. He is also a recipient of Service Merit Medal from Korean government in 2022. Currently he is the fellow of IEEE and Korea Academy of Science and Technology.


Prof. Ashish Ghosh

Prof. Ashish Ghosh is presently the Director of the International Institute of Information Technology, Bhubaneswar. He has already published more than 300 research papers in internationally reputed journals and refereed conferences, and has published eleven books. His current research interests include data science, big data analysis, machine learning and data mining, image and video analysis, computational intelligence, neural and evolutionary computation, and bioinformatics. Dr. Ghosh received the prestigious Young Scientists Award in Engineering Sciences from the Indian National Science Academy in 1995, and in computer science from the Indian Science Congress Association in 1992. He was selected as an Associate of the Indian Academy of Sciences, Bangalore, India, in 1997. He is a Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences, India, West Bengal Academy of Sciences and Technology & Technology, and the International Association for Pattern Recognition. He is acting as a member of the editorial boards of various reputed international journals.


Dr. Satchidananda Dehuri

Dr. Satchidananda Dehuri is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science (erst- while Department of Information and Communication Technology), Fakir Mohan University, Balasore, Odisha, India since 2013. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Utkal University, Vani Vihar, Odisha in 2006. He visited as a BOYSCAST Fellow to the Soft Computing Laboratory, Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea under the BOYSCAST Fellowship Program of DST, Govt. of India in 2008. In 2010 he received Young Scientist Award in Engineering and Technology for the year 2008 from Odisha Vigyan Academy, Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of Odisha. In 2021 he received TARE Fellowship from SERB, DST, Govt. of India for three years to carry out intensive research on Higher Order Neural Networks for Big Data Analysis at host Institute, ISI Kolkata and Parent Institute, Fakir Mohan University, Balasore. He was at the Center for Theoretical Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur as a Visiting Scholar in 2002. During May-June 2006 he was a Visiting Scientist at the Center for Soft Computing Research, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. His research interests include Evolutionary Computation, Neural Networks, Pattern Recognition, Data Warehousing and Mining, Object Oriented Programming and its Applications and Bioinformatics. He has already published about 280 research papers in reputed journals and referred conferences, has published five text books for undergraduate and Post graduate students and edited more than ten books of contemporary relevance. Under his direct supervision, 20 Ph.D. scholars have been successfully awarded. In addition, he has successfully guided two post doctoral scholars during the stay at Ajou University, South Korea as an Associate Professor in the Department of System Engineering for 02 years. He has completed three different research projects obtained from DST, UGC, and DRDO. His h-index as per Google Scholar is 32. As a part of Academic Collaboration, he has visited Ireland, New Zealand, Hong Kong, France, and Nepal.


Dr. Siba K Udgata

Dr. Siba K Udgata is serving as a Professor in the School of Computer and Information Sciences, University of Hyderabad, India. He also served as the Director, Centre for Modelling, Simulation and Design (CMSD), University of Hyderabad. He has got his Masters followed by Ph.D in Computer Science in the area of mobile computing and wireless communication. His main research interests are Wireless Communication, Mobile Computing and Wireless Sensor Networks and Intelligent algorithms.

He was a United Nations Fellow and worked in the United Nations University/ International Institute for Software Technology (UNU/IIST), Macau (near Hong Kong) as research fellow in the year 2001. He was a visiting fellow at Ball State University, USA. He was also a visiting Professor at Nepal Engineering College, Nepal and MS University, Thailand.

His research focus is on intelligent algorithm for wireless communication and related domains. Prof. Udgata is working as a principal investigator in many Government of India funded research projects mainly for development of wireless sensor network applications and application of swarm intelligence techniques in cognitive radio network. He is presently heading a multi-institutional project on sensor network applications funded by Information Technology Research Academy (ITRA), Department of Electronic and Information Technology (DeITy), Govt. of India. He is also an Investigator for a DST-Intel-US funded project in Water and Air Quality Monitoring for river water quality monitoring.

He is a recipient of IBM SUR (Shared University Research) Award for the project “Mobile Sensor Network based Disaster Management System with emphasis on Rescue Management”. He has served many international conferences as program co-chair and a co-editor for many Springer publications.

He has published more than 100 research papers in different refereed international journals and conferences. He has visited many countries like Hong Kong, China, Japan, United States of America, Thailand, Australia, Singapore and Nepal as a visiting scientist, to present research papers and/or as visiting professor.

Dr. Neeraj Kumar

Prof. Neeraj Kumar (SMIEEE) (2019, 2020 highly-cited researcher from WoS) is working as a Full Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (Deemed to be University), Patiala (Pb.), India. He is also adjunct professor at various organizations in India and abroad. He has published more than 600 technical research papers (DBLP Link) in top-cited journals and conferences which are cited more than 35600 times from well-known researchers across the globe with current h-index of 118 (Google Scholar Link). He is highly cited researcher in 2019, 2020, 2021 in the list released by Web of Science (WoS). He has guided many research scholars leading to Ph.D. (16) and M.E./M.Tech (24). His research is supported by funding from various competitive agencies across the globe. His broad research areas are Green computing and Network management, IoT, Big Data Analytics, Deep learning, and cyber-security. He has also edited/authored 10 books with International/National Publishers like IET, Springer, Elsevier, CRC.
